Description: – A very decorative Carlton Ware cup & saucer decorated with the Chinoiserie Pagoda pattern upon a  Matt Green body. The pattern Number is 2971 + 2468. Mark for Wiltshaw & Robinson Mark used from1927

Size & Weight: – The cup approx 5.5cm tall & 5cm across the rim and the saucer is 10.5cm across and weighs 95g in total.

Condition: – The cup & saucer are in excellent condition overall without any chips, cracks or restoration.  The body & hand painted flowers are in excellent order. The gilding is also in excellent order. The body rings true.

Photography:-  Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful coffee cup & saucer. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks:– The design is in both gilt outline and hand painted work utilising the very bright enamels that epitomise the period. The marks to both pieces were introduced in 1927
