Description: – A delightful Ridgway porcelain gadroon edged trio. The body is beautifully hand painted and gilded with summer flowers surrounded by an elegant crimson and gilt border.
Size & Weight: – The tea cup is approximately 8.5cm tall to the tip of the handle and 9.75cm across the rim, the coffee cup is 9.5cm tall to tip of the handle and 8cm across. The saucer is 14.5cm across and the whole weighs 390g
Condition: – The porcelain is in excellent condition and rings true. There is no chips, cracks, losses or restoration. There is very slight gilt ware to the saucer which is often expected, but in no way detracts from the piece.
Photography:– As highlighted the porcelain is in excellent condition with light gilt ware. The slight discolouration and light spots seen on the body are made in the photography and does not represent any changes to the body colour in reality.
History & Marks:– The porcelainis marked with the pattern Number 1504 - Circa 1825-80
Declaration:– This trio is approximately 200 years old and is as described.
