Description: – A very decorative Carlton Ware Tea cup & saucer decorated with Chinese Pagoda  Pattern  upon a cobalt ground. Both pieces bear the pattern numbers 2519 & 7947 . Each piece has the same Mark for Wiltshaw & Robinson Mark used from1927

Size & Weight: – The cup approx 6.25cm tall & 7.5cm across the rim and the saucer is 13.5cm across and weighs 190g in total.

Condition: – The cup & saucer are in excellent condition overall without any chips, cracks or restoration.  The body & hand painted flowers are in excellent order. The gilding is also in excellent order. The body rings true.

Photography:-  Please look at the images as they show a true status of this delightful coffee cup & saucer. There are some light reflections seen following the photography and are not discolourations to the glaze.

History & Marks:– The design is in both gilt outline and hand painted work utilising the very bright enamels that epitomise the period. The marks to both pieces were introduced in 1927

Declaration:– This cup and saucer is genuine Wiltshaw & Robinson 'Carlton Ware' Pottery from the time period described.
