Description: –The vase is decorated with an organically flowing floral design upon a trellis in thick, engraved silver overlay. The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower aspect of the rim. 

Size: – The weighty vase (1085g) is 21.5cm tall & 10cm across the rim. 

Condition: The glass vase and silver are in great condition without any chips, cracks, losses repairs of restoration. Obvious light surface scratches due to cleaning the silver over the years. The engraving is still crisp.

History & Marks – The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the low aspect of the foot rim as can be seen in one of the images.

Friedrich Spahr

A superbly decorative pale green glass vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The weighty vase (1085g) is 21.5cm tall & 10cm across the rim. The glass is probably by WMF (Spahr acquired most of his glass from WMF & Jean Beck). The vase is decorated with an organically flowing floral design upon a trellis in thick, engraved silver overlay. The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower aspect of the rim as can be seen on the above image.
