A delightful salt-glazed studio pottery charger simply decorated with a stylised retro floral design in traditional colours. The charger is 32.5cm across and has Mühlendyck’s butterfly mark inscribed to the reverse along with Bita mark BM

Bita started her life as a Kindergarten teacher and married Wim Muhlendyck in 1931. She began studying pottery quite early and had an exhibition of her work in Cologne 1965. She exhibited many works in salt-glaze techniques.
