Size: The jug is 19.5cm tall to the tip of the pewter lid handle.

A delightful wine jug with pewter lid decorated in an earlier style.The jug is signed to the base and is 19.5cm tall to the tip of the lid handle. 

Anton Lang (1875-1938) lived and worked in Oberammergau, he was famous as a potter and even more famous as the actor who played Christ in the Oberammergau passion play in 1900, 1910 and 1922.
