A stunning asymmetric vase designed by Prof FJ Karl & decorated by Friedrich Deusch

Date: 1955-60

Condition: Excellent without any chips, crack losses or restoration 

Size: The vase is 10.5cm tall and weighs 225g.

A scarce, and stylised Bavarian porcelain vase, superbly decorated in the silver studios of Friedrich Deusch. The striking ‘lepidopterist’ dream design is in silver overlay and enamels upon a turquoise-ground. The shape designed by Prof Franz Joseph Karl. The vase is 10.5cm tall and weighs 225g.  The silver is stamped slightly marked 1000/1000 to the lower rim.
