An extremely fine Bavarian porcelain vase decorated in the Schwåbisch Gmünd silver studios of Friedrich Spahr. The turquoise body has a superbly intricate and expressive floral design in thick silver overlay. The vase is 20cm tall and 10cm across the rim and weighs 1330g.
The silver is stamped Spahr 1000 to the lower rim of the vase as seen in the above image. The porcelain marks used between 1945-77. K&A porcelain ceased production in 1979
